Product Review: Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick

image

After three weeks in a soulless factory job (it’s why I’ve been relatively quiet), I treated myself to some make-up BECAUSE I CAN. I’m trying to break out of my autumnal colours rut, so I banned myself from buying anything purple and/or red, and went for a pink.

Yes, you heard me. Pink. And not just any pink, we’re talking eye-popping-blue-based-bad-Barbie-bitch kind of pink (#Shade 320: Funtime Fuschia).

And it suits me!

I’ve never been one for pink on my lips; the only ones in sight seemed to be frosted or pastel or otherwise not for me. But this is fabulous. It’s bright and eye-catching and it smells like jasmine! I want to grab a beautiful and unsuspecting person, kiss them thoroughly and then sprint away, just for the fun of leaving a scent memory.

Rating: 9/10. The colour is amazing, but for a shade that was meant to give - if not matte - opaque coverage, I can still see my natural lip colour unless I slather it on.

How much is it?

I bought mine at my local Superdug for the grand price of £6.19.

Where can I buy it?
