Who are they?
Black Sheep Goth is a blog run by Nnyno and Zula, and claims to be ‘a blog for queer/fat/trans/non-binary/disabled/poc goths’.
Who’s it for?
For all the people that most Goth blogs like to conveniently forget the existence of, so pretty much all the people mentioned in the above section.
Why should I follow them?
Because the mods are true to their claim; I’ve been following for a while now, and I can safely say that I’ve seen pictures submitted from all different corners of the Goth community, which is definitely a refreshing change from the usual tumblr habit of only reblogging skinny, cis, pretty, white girls (not that there’s anything wrong with posting/reblogging skinny, cis, pretty, white girls, but if you’re claiming to speak for a community, you really ought to speak for all of it).
Where else can I find them?
The mods can be found here for Nnyno and here for Zula.
Who is she?
Fashion Mutant is the personal fashion blog of Calister, a 20 year fashion journalism student from England. She does DIYs and posts awesome pictures of her envy-worthy closet.
Who’s it for?
For all the fashion mutants, which pretty much means anyone who wanders off the beaten path when it comes to fashion and clothes. She calls herself the Professor X of fashion mutants, and anyone who references X-Men gets a Follow Friday for that alone.
Why should I follow her?
Why shouldn’t you? No, seriously, her blog is a constant inspiration fashion-wise. Her clothes and ideas are incredibly individual, and what’s more, she doesn’t mind sharing them! (her ideas, that is. Sending one’s clothes to strangers on tumblr might be a tad strange.)
Can I find her anywhere else?
On Twitter, both here and here and in this corner of the Internet on blogspot. Oh, and if you take a look the tutorials on Black Girls Killing It, you’ll find her DIYs in one, neat list.

Who are they?
Fuck Yeah, Hard Femme! describes itself as “a celebration of fabulous femme folks who look just as tough as they do fly and a plethora of hard femme inspirations”. They post follower submissions as well as professional photoshoots and famous people, so there’s a great mix of clothing, hairstyles and tattoos to look at and draw inspiration from.
Who’s it for?
Anyone who’s a hard femme! If you’re the kind of person who wears spiked boots with floral sundresses or bright lipstick with mechanic’s overalls, this is the blog for you.
Why should I follow them?
Because the pictures they post are incredibly diverse; usually, tumblr blogs fall prey to the habit of only posting skinny, white, cis, able-bodied girls to the exclusion of everyone else. Fuck Yeah, Hard Femme! will reblog and post anyone who falls under the ‘hard femme’ category, regardless of race, gender, disability/lack thereof, weight et cetera.
Who runs it?
Fuck Yeah, Hard Femme is run by sssupercovennn, queerhairyvag and fouronesix.
